Christ Community Church

Christ Community Church (CCC) is a large evangelical church affiliated with the Christian & Missionary Alliance.  It is located in Omaha, NE, which has a population in its growing metropolitan area that is approaching 1,000,000.  CCC’s facility is located in a business park, approximately halfway between the city’s downtown and the edge of its western suburbs.  CCC is a strong, healthy church with over 3,000 in worship on Sunday morning.  The leadership of CCC believes God has prepared CCC at this time in its history to make a significant contribution to extending the Kingdom in the Omaha metropolitan area.

CCC is blessed to be a major leader in the Kingdom for the whole city of Omaha.  It is also a very influential church within the Christian and Missionary Alliance.  This is the result of a Lead Pastor with a passion for outreach; collaborative relationships with the other large evangelical churches in Omaha; multi-site campuses; and available resources to support its local and global mission.

Mark Ashton is the lead pastor of CCC.  Now in his eleventh year at CCC, his vision for making disciples for kingdom impact has made a significant impact on this growing Church.  Prior to coming to Christ Community, Mark was the Pastor of Evangelism for Willow Creek Community Church for seven years.  There he had the opportunity to lead in one of America’s most influential churches and to teach thousands of leaders from around the world about evangelism strategy.  Mark also served as an evangelism specialist for InterVarsity Christian fellowship for eight years in the ‘90s.

Staff at CCC find an exciting, kingdom-oriented team with a passion for reaching the lost, caring for the poor and growing disciples to full maturity.  There is a large core of faithful volunteers who are dedicated to serving within the walls, in the city of Omaha and around the world.
