Crossview Fellowship is currently seeking candidates for a full time Associate Pastor of Students and Worship Ministries. ABOUT CROSSVIEW FELLOWSHIP Crossview Fellowship is a purpose driven church with the passion and vision to reach southeast Iowa. Crossview believes in connecting families in the greater family of God. Crossview has invested in the vision of reaching the youth of their community by building a 6,500 square foot Youth Center called “The Edge” in 1994. Since then Crossview has continued to develop and grow into a church of purpose with an average attendance of 250+ weekly. MINISTRY DESCRIPTION Crossview Fellowship is looking for an individual who has the vision to believe God for awesome things. The Associate Pastor of Students and Worship will provide pastoral leadership for volunteer staff and participants in student and worship ministries at Crossview Fellowship. They will oversee the administration and development of all student and worship ministries. They will disciple students through biblical teaching and role modeling. They will work along with other pastoral staff, support and volunteer staff to ensure a cohesive Sunday morning worship experience. MINISTRY SCOPE The Associate Pastor of Student and Worship will oversee Junior and Senior High student ministries with a secondary focus of worship and arts development. MINISTRY QUALIFICATIONS •A person who loves God with all their heart, soul and mind and loves their neighbor as themselves. •A person who is passionate about students and loves working, mentoring and hanging with them. •A person who is passionate about experiencing personal and corporate worship. •A person who has a teachable spirit and is willing to train, equip and put others in the spotlight for their own development as leaders (not looking for a one man show). •A person who is authentically longing to be apart of a “real” community of believers. •Education: B.A. or equivalent not required, but helpful. Training and competence in related ministry. A competent level of theology. Proficient in computer skills. •Commitment to being apart of and building a team. •They must evidence the biblical pastoral qualifications (Titus 1:6-9; 1 Timothy 3:1-7) and be in agreement with the principals, doctrine and beliefs of Crossview Fellowship. MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES •Provide leadership, vision and administration for student ministries, and weekly worship activities. •Provide pastoral protection and care for volunteer leaders and students. •Organize and train volunteer staff for student/worship ministry. •Prepare Sunday morning and midweek lessons for students as needed. •Oversee and Organize midweek youth gatherings and corporate worship activities. •Provide oversight of all audio and video equipment as well as training and scheduling of those volunteers who run the equipment. •General pastoral care for parents, staff, and students in encouragement and discipleship. •Maintain working network with other student/music ministries. •Meet regularly with the Pastoral staff for prayer, study, feedback and calendar planning. •Other ministry specialties may be incorporated depending upon giftedness, capabilities, passions and interest.
