Church of the Redeemer is seeking a Software Project Manager / Administrator to manage our Fellowship One Church Management System (ChMS). Experience with Fellowship One is
not required. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the deployment of new modules and features, creating user accounts, and managing workflow using the ChMS.
The candidate will create online forms, design screen layouts using pre-defined database fields, and create custom reports. The Software Administrator will also provide training for users (group and individual), as well as online, phone, and desk-side user
support. The software administrator will develop a plan and schedule for the deployment of modules and functionality not yet used, and will track new developments and deploy new functionality as it comes available. This role includes day-to-day software administration,
as well as management of many small “projects” and mini-deployments.
Training on Fellowship One will be provided. Pre-existing knowledge of this specific ChMS is
Experience using software to manage business process and workflow is very important. Candidates must be process driven, detail oriented, extremely organized and meticulous, and highly customer-service oriented. The ideal candidate will have experience with
software and some general database knowledge. Programming and DBA experience is
not required (though would be a welcome benefit).
This is a half-time position, but can be combined with another role such as IT support, Apple/Mac support, etc, if appropriate to create a full-time position.
