Christ Community Church is a vibrant, innovative and growing ministry of 5,000+ in the western suburbs of Chicago, We are seeking for someone to serve on a fast-paced, dynamic team and work in our Accounting Department.

The primary responsibility is to ensure that the financial data for Christ Community is complete and accurate and posted to the General Ledger in a timely manner under the supervision of the CFO.

This individual would spend most of their energy on reviewing and reconciling statements and general ledger entries, assisting with our payroll and data processing. This person must have a proficiency in finance research and has the ability to complete projects in a timely and accurate manner. Experience in accounting processes, understanding the details of an accounting audit, is proficient working within a process and workflow is important. This individuals needs to be self-motivated, possesses organizational and critical thinking skills and is able to prepare and check documents clearly and with the utmost integrity. A strong passion and giftedness in administration, and service is a plus. A B.A. in Accounting or Finance is required with 3-5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
