Job Description:

Eagle Creek Church, a modern, non-denominational church, with an average of 650 per
Sunday, is seeking an energetic and skilled worker to be our full time Students Pastor
for grades 7th-12th grade.

Eagle Creek has an established Youth Ministry of approximately 60 students that see this as their youth ministry and 30 to 40 students attending each week.

We are only looking for someone with over 3+ years of full time employment as the
lead student pastor of a church and someone who is preferably married. ECC is
growing quickly and we must have a high capacity leader who is a visionary to lead a
strong, high energy Wednesday night youth service that is attractional for the teenagers
in our city.

We are looking for someone who can relate to this culture and connect with them in a
way that empowers their lives. Our church has a passion to reach students who are far
from Christ so they can be filled with the life of Christ.

In addition to that, we are looking for someone that can develop leaders, grow the
ministry, organize quality events throughout the year, have our students serving in our
city and our weekend worship experiences on Sunday’s, and someone who will partner
with our parents to help build healthy relationships between our teens and parents. The
Students Pastor must be highly organized, have great relational skills with both teens and adults, be able to recruit and develop leaders and lead large teams.

teenagers in a way that they can understand and apply in their everyday lives, we want to hear from you.

As Youth Pastor you will be responsible for implementing exciting youth programs that
are relevant, high-energy, and attractive to families. Your ability to recruit and
equip effective leaders will be crucial to the long-term success of the ministry. We are
looking for someone with creative ideas that will focus on where this Youth ministry is
going, not on where it’s been.

You must also be able to work very agreeably in a staff environment, have flexibility, andbe a team player. We hire only staff members with the highest character to be part of the team. This position requires someone who is self-motivated, having a clear vision
for children’s ministry.

Outreach Oriented – Lead programs that encourage students to bring their friends.
Empowering – No lone rangers needed. Must be able to recruit and develop leaders.
Cutting Edge – Create an exciting, modern, high-impact ministry that students want to be at.
Culturally Aware – Recognizes the trends of students in our culture, with an
understanding of how to support the needs of families from a biblical perspective.
Vision Casting – Have a clear vision and the ability to motivate people to action.
Communication – Must be able to articulate your needs to leadership and be an
engaging communicator in your ministry.
Experience – Have at least 3 years experience in Youth ministry.
Excellence – Must have a commitment to do everything the best you can with the
resources you have available.
Administration – No dropped balls, no loose ends. Must be able to plan, communicate
Loyalty – Must be committed to the vision of the Lead Pastor and building the church
as a whole. We don’t operate in silos we operate as a team.
