Among the church’s unique attributes are a very giving spirit and a real heart for missions. The culture of their work environment is focused on teamwork, while utilizing individual talent.

This church is looking for a Senior Pastor who can cast a strong vision, mentor the team, and preach the Word in a relevant style. The ministry opportunities for this multi-generational, multi-cultural community are endless.

In addition to the ministry opportunities, this town provides excellent schools, a beautiful setting of tree-lined streets, a wonderful environment for families, an education level that ranks among the highest in the nation; and it is just a short commute to New York City. The rich culture of Scotch Plains includes people from all walks of life, from corporate executive to the rich array of trades people who have contributed to not only the quaint look of the town but also the convenience of easy living—great history and all the amenities you could want.

The right candidate will be a spirit-filled, energetic lead shepherd of the church, who seeks and casts a vision, and who is progressive in his approach to ministry and leadership. He will be able to communicate the truths of God’s Word to the congregation through many venues, as well as being a relational pastor who likes being “with the people.”
