Job Description:
Worship Arts Director
Seacoast Church - Irmo campus (Columbia, SC)

This is a full-time position, reporting to the Irmo Campus Pastor.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Partner with the Campus Pastor and Central Support to develop the theme and song selection that delivers a God-inspired worship experience every week through live and video performance consistent with the weekly teaching.
2. Recruit, lead and develop a worship team of staff and volunteers inspired to achieve their goals, the church mission and grow in their relationship with Christ.
3. Lead worship to reflect the style and experience desired at Seacoast.
4. Expand the reach of the church outside the church walls through song writing and recording, special community events and worship services.
5. Direct the overall Family Ministry Worship experiences to achieve desired goals and achieve the mission of the church.
6. Assist in weddings, funerals, baptism and communion services.
7. Encourage teamwork, mutual respect & support, and spiritual leadership to develop staff and volunteers.
8. Oversee the Tech Team to achieve desired worship experience: lighting, projection, audio, video, stage and auditorium set design.

Skill/Ability/Knowledge Requirements
1. Experience and reputation as a worship leader and skilled musician.
2. Good interpersonal skills.
3. Demonstrated ability to assemble and lead a team.
4. Basic computer competency.
5. Embraces an ALL IN culture.
6. Music degree or equivalent training/experience.
7. Ability to recruit, lead and train musicians, vocalists, and tech team members.
8. Ability to oversee the entire worship experience including technical arts (stage set, lighting, audio and projection).
9. Demonstrated spiritual gifts to serve others within a team environment.
