Cove Church is seeking a full time Director of Children’s Ministry. Cove Church is a contemporary and dynamic church in Huntsville, AL that exists to help people Discover Hope, Develop Faith and Demonstrate Love through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our vision is to transform the Tennessee Valley through reproducing authentic Christ-centered communities. We recently launched our first multi-site campus in 2011, and will launch up to 8 more by 2020. A core part of our strategy is creating dynamic children's ministry experiences at each campus. The Director of Children’s Ministry will be responsible for total oversight of the ministry as well as developing the children's ministry leadership for the Hampton Cove campus. The Children’s Ministry Vision is to create irresistible experiences that lead children to a growing relationship with our heavenly Father. To do this the Director will be responsible for ensuring that the children have an engaging environment, helping leaders create authentic Christ centered community, and introduce children to dynamic worship. Our current worship attendance is averaging 1300, with 370 in Kids Cove.
We are utilizing the First Look / 252 Basics and Orange Philosophy of ministry with our children. Our previous Director has moved on to be a part of a growing church out of state as an Executive Pastor, but leaves a fantastic team (paid and volunteers) and structure in place. Applicants MUST be experienced in team settings, able to cast vision, motivate leaders, passionate about engaging families in shared irresistible experiences, and most importantly passionate about reaching children.
