Cove Church is located in Hampton Cove, a suburb of Huntsville AL. Huntsville is
regularly listed as one of the best places to live and we agree.
Cove is contemporary in worship (as in Chris Tomlin, Gungor, David Crowder, Hillsong)
and Wesleyan in theology. It is small group based in discipleship and missional in
action. In all things we are committed to excellence and innovation. Cove has a great staff
that really enjoys doing ministry together. We are team based with a clear vision and
strong leadership. We are also very careful about the people we add to our team.
Our vision is to transform the Tennessee Valley through reproducing authentic
Christ-centered communities. We recently launched our first multi-site campus in 2011,
and will launch up to 8 more by 2020. A core part of our strategy is creating dynamic
student ministry experiences at each campus. Our discipleship happens in small groups
(we call ours community groups).
Our student ministry currently reaches 200 on a weekly basis, grades 6 through 12. We
offer separate middle school and high school ministry options each week in our 4 year old
student ministry center called "The Well". Our youth band leads worship, followed by
teaching and small groups. Middle school groups meet Sunday morning. High school
small groups meet Sunday evening.
Our desire is to find someone who has the gifts and experience to take what is working
well, and build upon it. The right person will lead our student ministry staff, both paid and
volunteer. Each week we have 60+ adult volunteers who really make the ministry
happen. The position requires the ability to lead leaders as well as relating with

the bulk of the hands on ministry. We want someone that has a proven track record of
working hard and getting things done while still enjoying the journey.
We expect the individual to become an active part of the community at Cove Church. To
this end, the candidate will be required to be an active participant in one of our Community
