Personal
• Actively maintain a growing, intimate, personal relationship with God
• Consistently grow in ability to lead volunteers and staff as added
• Continued knowledge of current and future trends in video production
Leadership
• Recruit, lead develop, empower and schedule staff and volunteers in the video department with a humble attitude and servant's heart
• Clearly understand, communicate and a promote the vision and strategy of the Church
• Possess the ability to multi-task projects and meetings and to manage video project deadlines
• Possess the ability to make quick decisions in time sensitive, live productions
• Support Church in carrying out the ministry and vision of the church as it relates to video production
• Setting a clear, Christ-like example for others to follow, sacrificing and re-distributing your time as needed to accommodate church-wide ministry needs
• Committed to good teamwork and support of all the ministries
• Attend weekly staff meetings as well as any other meetings where you are requested
• Pray for the Pastors, other staff members, volunteer workers, members, and the church as a whole
Programming
• Oversee pre and post production of all video projects that fall within the following categories on a regular basis:
• Creative videos for use in services
• Testimony videos
• Promo/highlight videos
• Oversee pre and post production of all ministry-specific videos (one-time or recurring)
• Oversee all aspects of video production for support of worship services including managing online video webcasting
• Document church-wide events to be archived for future projects
• Serve on the Creative Team to provide input for new ideas for use in worship, video and drama
• Make sure all elements and volunteers in video department are in place for worship services
About the Position of Video Producer & Editor:
We are looking to expand our team with a person who has solid experience as a video producer. This person must be able to take a concept and run with it until completion. We are looking for someone who is flexible, has the ability to work in a fast turnaround environment and a commitment for excellence in everything they do.
Highlights:
• Video shooting, capture and editing of various video shoots
• Editing, editing, editing
• Directing actors and extras
• Building, training and recruiting media/production volunteers
• Setting up and troubleshooting equipment
• Creation of DVD menus and authoring
• Compression of videos for various formats including, DVD, web and mobile devices
• Archiving and organizing all archive footage and source documents
• Setting up unique video sets for different looks / location scouting
• Supporting other ministries/departments with video expertise
• Provide repair and ensure regular maintenance on campus-wide video equipment
• System diagnostics/repair/troubleshooting
• General media clean up and maintenance
Ideal Qualifications:
• Expert in Final Cut Pro
• Expert in After Effects
• Expert in white balancing a camera
• Expert in color correction of multiple different cameras
• Passion for video editing and storytelling in a fast paced environment
• Understanding of motion graphics
• Team Player
• Must be passionate for learning new techniques
• Passion for mentoring the next generation of media volunteers and professionals
