Intro of NCC: New Creation Church is a non-denominational Christian organization with an average weekly church attendance of 1,200 members. The church Executive Board of Director’s is responsible for the overall governance and management of the Church’s business affairs. The Senior Pastor provides spiritual leadership and a clear direction of church goals and serves as an active participant in the Executive Board meetings.
Brief Job Summary: Under the direction of the Senior Pastor, the Church Business Administrator (CBA) is responsible for directing the business, finance, day-to-day management, and operations of New Creation Church of San Diego (NCC).
Minimum Responsibilities: The Church Business Administrator (CBA) duties include, but are not limited to:
? Responsible for managing all non-ministerial church personnel and developing long term staffing plans.
? Developing, implementing, updating compliance with required personnel and payroll policies and procedures.
? Supervising the management, operations, and maintenance of church offices, buildings, facility equipment systems, properties, and grounds.
? Managing and reviewing all church insurance policies to assure policies provide adequate coverage and protection of all members, employees, and volunteers.
? Coordinating church department operations to ensure effective scheduling of meetings, activities, classes, and community events on the church campus.
? Coordinating with the Comptroller and the Finance Department in developing the NCC annual operating budget along with managing the general church office budget.
? Reviewing, tracking, and managing monthly operating expenses confirming that church business units stay within projected monthly expenditures.
? Reviewing and reconciling all credit card monthly expenses.

? Effective compliance with all finance, recordkeeping, and retention policies and procedures established by the NCC Executive Board and Finance Department.
? Supervising administrative and office staff to ensure written, verbal, and electronic communiques are effective between the church, its congregation, and the broader community.
? Certifying that the church is in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws related to its legal status.
Qualifications:
? Be a committed Christian and a regular and active participant in a Christian church.
? Possess the necessary experience to direct the day-to-day operations of a church with a congregation exceeding 1,500 members.
? Experience directing the operations of a large organization including developing, implementing and managing budgets.
? Possess skills in leadership and organizational management, strategic thinking, and planning as applicable to multifaceted business or church operations.
? Strong interpersonal interactions with others, and ability to effectively implement church policies and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Experience supervising the management and operation of computer systems and programs, including business and social media applications, Web site management, audio, video, telephone, and security systems.
