Director of Preschool and Children's Ministries

Job Description:
First United Methodist Church is seeking a full time Director of Preschool and Children's Ministries. This position seeks to transform lives for God through quality Christian nurture and teaching, as well as providing children and families an intentional Christian focus. The Director is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the 180 student Preschool including, but not limited to, administration, staff supervision, curriculum selection, fundraising, parent relations, events, and finances. The Director will also be responsible for overseeing the children's ministries for our congregation, including recruiting, equipping, and training volunteer leaders for the different ministry functions. It is important for the Director to have a passion for connecting Preschool families with the life and ministry of the Church.
