StoneRidge Fellowship Church
Pastor/Director of Student Ministries (Teens & Twenties) Employment Search
StoneRidge Fellowship Baptist Church, a suburban church nearing 800, is seeking a Pastor/Director of Student Ministries (Teens and Twenties) reporting directly to the Lead Pastor or his designate in continuing the growth of this vibrant congregation. This church is centered in Lower Sackville which is a part of the Halifax Regional Municipality of Nova Scotia, Canada.
StoneRidge is looking for a person with a heart for ministry to teens and young adults. This person will, within a Christian church environment, engage these teenagers and young adults in ministry. Previous experience serving alongside youth in advancing the cause of Christ is necessary. The level and length of such previous experience shall be discussed should the potential candidate be chosen for an interview. Evidence of leadership capabilities will be noted.
Although applicants are not required to have been ordained to Christian ministry, biblical and theological training will factor in possible interviews for this opportunity, as well as a sense of call to ministry. It is expected that the chosen candidate will support the doctrinal positions and policies of the church.
Initial contact in pursuit of this ministry employment is to be directed to the Lead Pastor, Rev. Dr. Les Somers (email@example.com). Strict confidentiality is assured as the person of God’s choosing is being prayerfully sought.
The desire is that this Position be filled by August 31, 2012 with placement on location as soon after that as possible in consideration of the chosen candidate’s present employment status. Salary and benefits are competitive for such a role. Relocation assistance will be negotiated according to the need.
