Worship Leader

Job Description:
Go Church, Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a Worship Leader.

GO Church, aka Global Outreach Church, is a new, growing, mufti-ethnic, missional church. The church’s theme is reaching up, reaching in and reaching out: up to God in worship, in to disciple believers, and out to others across the street and around the world. The church is currently, 30% Internationals (first generation immigrants), 30% African-Americans and 40% Caucasians. The church planters recently returned to the US after serving as missionaries in Africa for 22 years. There they did evangelism, founded churches, Bible schools and did relief work. The church is non-denominational, Christ-o-centric, Spirit-filled and embraces all of Scripture.

Services are currently held on Sundays at 11 AM.

This is a Part- Time Position (12 hours per week) with the following responsibilities:
1.) To display spiritual passion in worship and a growing faith that is communicated in a small group,
the Worship Band.
- To cultivate Team by developing potential members, including youth.
- To Motivate, empower, collaborate with, and encourage others.
2.)To attend weekly practices one night per week and, arrive 2 hours prior to the Sunday morning service for the Team Practice Session.

3.)To display Christian maturity by use of communication skills with members of the band and church staff.
-Collaborates with the Pastor in the overall development of the worship life at Go Church.
-Attend and engage in Leadership Planning Meetings with the Pastor and other Leaders.
-Displays integrity, establishes trust, makes use of confidentiality, patience, and adaptability,

4.)To enhance the worship experience through weekly song selection, publicizing this to band members, media people.

5.)To make use of Contemporary Worship songs
a.) From this main body of songs other styles can be incorporated occasionally:
-multi ethnic
-gospel
-classical (maybe strings)
-modernized hymns

1.)To consider Go Church your church home, where spiritual growth is enacted and relationships are the mortar of your development.
- There is a possibility in the future to extend hours to full-time, by serving in a 2nd Department of the church (i.e. Youth, Young Adults, Associate Pastor etc.)
