Job Description:
Liberty Bible Church is an Evangelical Free Church located an hour from downtown Chicago in Chesterton, Indiana. LBC has 1800+ worshipers attending 6 Sunday morning services in three venues. We are seeking a full-time Technical Director to oversee the utilization of Audio/Visual technologies to serve our congregation and ministries.
The primary responsibility of the position is to oversee, manage and equip the volunteer Technical Ministry Team. In addition, the position requires 1) a thorough knowledge and proven skill in working with A/V systems, equipment, installation, maintenance, etc. 2) a thorough knowledge and ability in structuring a live audio mix—vocal intelligibility, compression, effects, EQ, gain structure, system tuning, monitor mixing, mic placement, problem solving, etc. 3) knowledge and experience with related A/V software and 4) at least five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
