Job Description:
United Evangelical Free Church of Klamath Falls, Oregon is seeking the man God has prepared to transition into the position of Senior Pastor, as our current Senior Pastor retires.

We are a modest-sized (approximately 125 families), Bible-based, family-oriented church known within the community as a church that places a high importance on accurate, in-depth teaching from God’s Word. Our current staff includes a full time associate pastor and a youth pastor in addition to the senior pastor.

Our mission statement is:
“To reach the unsaved; and to equip and deploy transformed Christians through whom Jesus can effectively make himself known to our world.”

Our current vision is to:
“Energize and equip the body of Christ - head, heart, and hands - to fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.” 15-20% of our annual budget is committed to Missionary support.

The Senior Pastor is the spiritual leader of our flock; therefore he must fulfill all the biblical requirements of a spiritual leader. He should be a gifted teacher, shepherd, and leader. He should hold a Master of Divinity (or equivalent) from an accredited seminary, and have a minimum of 5 years pastoral experience. He should also agree with the EFCA Doctrinal Statement of Faith, and be eligible for ordination by the Evangelical Free Church of America.

The Senior Pastor is a full time, salaried position with benefits, and the compensation is based on several factors that will be further discussed during the selection process.

All correspondence will be held in strict confidence. Please submit a current resume or any questions you may have by emailing us at We will do our best to respond to all correspondence in a timely manner, and candidates will be apprised of the status of their application throughout the process.
