Job Title: Worship Pastor
Location: Grace Church, Fort Myers Shores Campus; Fort Myers, FL
Hours: 30 hours/week
Start Date: August 1, 2012
$23,500 to 27,500
Includes 3 bed/2bath home

Summary:

The role of the worship pastor is to lead in building a worshipping culture with worship services and ministries that fit the DNA of Grace Church and fulfill our Vision to partner with God in transforming people from unbelievers to fully devoted disciples of Jesus, to the glory of God. In addition, the worship pastor is to be a pastor and spiritual leader in the congregation by caring for people, praying for them and encouraging their growth in Christ. The worship pastor is a blessing to the congregation and also to the Campus Pastor as an assistant in pastoral ministry.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be a Spiritual Leader in the congregation by building relationships and praying with others regularly.
• Build and lead Worship Ministry Team in creating a culture of Worship and opportunities for Worship that fit the DNA of Grace Church and fulfill God’s Vision for Grace Church. The Worship Ministry includes: Contemporary, Traditional, Tech Team, Youth Praise Team, Creative Team and more.
• Develop and coordinate a team to produce and implement creative ideas that enhance worship.

Education/Experience:
• High school diploma
• 3-5 years experience leading contemporary Christian worship
• Bachelor’s degree with some seminary, or acceptance to seminary, preferred.
