Worship/Youth Minister

Job Description:
First Christian Church of Chesterton is looking for a dynamic full time worship/youth minister to help take us to the next level! We are a growing church with 16 acres of property, a new building program in progress, and new staff ready to help this church grow exponentially. The only piece missing is a minister of worship/youth.

Right now we are meeting in the Duneland Family YMCA in Chesterton, IN. (about 45 minutes SE of Chicago). At the present time we have two worship services - a traditional service and a contemporary service. We are looking for the right person to lead worship services and teach our ever growing middle/high school youth group.

Potential candidates should be able to meet the following criteria:
Restoration/Christian church background.
Degree from a Christian college.
At least 5 years of verifiable ministry experience.
Ability to lead music using both hymns and today's contemporary music styles.
Ability to teach and lead youth groups with lesson plans and youth outings and mission trips.
Must be a self-starter and be able to lead, organize, and motivate others independently.
Ability to input songs using Propresenter software.
