Associate Director of Student Ministry

Job Description:
Lee’s Summit Community Church seeks a full-time Associate Director of Student Ministry (7-12th grade with an emphasis on 7-8th grade). This position will serve alongside the Director of Student Ministries and help create a worship experience where students don’t just attend church, but experience church.

Qualified candidates possess the skill set to organize, create, implement and strategize events to connect students with one another as they connect with Christ. Candidates must have a passion for students to grow in Christ and be familiar with House Church model of discipleship. Candidates must have experience in building teams of students and adults that are willing to serve inside the four walls of the church as well as lead students to go outside the church to make Christ known. Creativity and organization are essential qualities.

A baccalaureate degree and a minimum of two years working in student ministry within a church are required.
