Job Description:
Community of Hope United Methodist Church in Mansfield, Texas, an energetic, casual, growing church, seeks a Children’s Ministries Director. This key member of our church ministry leadership team will be responsible for directing our children’s ministry by leading Sunday Morning activities for children from infants – 6th grade. Additional responsibilities include special events such as VBS, Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk or Treat, and more. A strong candidate must be willing to build relationships with children, volunteers and parents; will be active in the church; have an undergraduate degree; be able to utilize a variety of communication skills; and at least 2-3 years experience in planning and leading children’s activities. Organizational skills are a plus including the ability to plan events for a long range calendar and managing an annual budget. A successful candidate will have a positive history in working with a church staff.
