Job Description:
Weekend Worship Coordinator
The Woodlands United Methodist Church is seeking an experienced Weekend Worship Coordinator for the purpose of creatively advancing the message of Jesus Christ in a variety of worship styles (traditional, blended and modern).
You Are:
• Passionate about worship, regardless of style
• Comfortable working behind the scenes in worship
• Highly-organized and can work successfully in a tightly structured environment
You Have:
• An exceptional eye for detail
• Technical design and/or media production skills
• Proven experience in managing people and relationships
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
You Will:
• Lead teams to plan and implement worship services / series
• Direct and manage a creative team during the week and on weekends
• Work closely with the senior pastor, worship pastors and worship leaders
• Proof and approve other people’s work
• Build and run worship graphics on a weekly basis
• Compile, edit and manage song libraries on a weekly basis
• Manage church copyright licensing procedures as they apply to music, video and streaming online
• Develop and maintain a media volunteer program
Candidate Requirements:
• Previous live worship production experience in a church is a must
• Previous management experience
• 3-5 year experience in at least one of the following areas: worship planning, audio-video production, graphic design, set design, or environmental design
• Software experience with Adobe Creative Suite 5; ProPresenter & ProPlayer; Microsoft Office Suite required
• CCLI / SongSelect experience a plus
• Photography experience a plus
• Social media experience a plus
