Youth Director/Pastor

Job Description:
Oversee youth ministry.

Lead mid-week and Sunday youth ministry, plan outings, and trips. Coordinate efforts with volunteers. Recruit and train volunteers. Currenlty Faith Church has about 18 active youth and an additional 10 partially active. Job has a potential to become full-time if growth is suffienct and we reach more families. Must be a team player and be able to lead a team. Communication with families, students, Church leaders, and Senior pastor a must.

Must be able to articulate an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and be able to share this with others.

Hourly expectations: 17 - 20 per week. This would include onsite Wednesday evenings and Sunday evening/afternoons and preparation work.

Applicant must be able to work within a evangelical United Methodist context.

Salary, hours, and job description partially negotiable.
