Create graphic and web design, assist with brand management and internal/external marketing and communication strategies for the comprehensive vision of Destiny Metropolitan Worship Church and its entities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Design, create and research ideas for graphic design
Presents sample ideas and/or prepares rough sketches of design for approval
Creates logos, illustrations, graphs, charts, and other artwork
Uses computer to design and create layouts for the space allotted including size and arrangement of illustrations and/or photographs, and size and style of type
Works closely with the Manager in developing and implementing strategies, campaigns, work plans and reports
Contributes actively to publications production and web development. Creates promotional material. Coordinates reproduction and dissemination of printed materials
Remains current on the graphics and web development technologies including new HTML tags, browser specifications, graphic utilities and programs, etc. Acts as a technical resource for staff in the area of marketing and web design.
Create copy for video, web and print
Reviews final layout with Manager
Prepares final artwork for printer
Prepares instructions for printer
Assist with communication vehicles such as live announcement, video announcements etc
Writes content for announcements, bulletins, web pages etc.
Assist with coordinating, planning, scheduling, and implementing marketing strategies and tactics for the organization.
Provides overall strategic advice on positioning and expertise in identifying brand and marketing opportunities.
Maintains working knowledge of all church events and activities to ensure the best brand is presented
Shifts priorities and undertakes special projects as directed by the Sr. Pastor and COO
Assist with developing products and marketing strategies for the Sr. Pastor Messages, series, events and activities. Develop a team of volunteers to assist with social media, graphics, marketing strategies etc.
Develops and oversees production of marketing and communication materials and procedures for disseminating them.
Coordinates with vendors to provide supervision on contractual details, instruct contractors in details and expectations.
Organizes projects involving volunteer graphic artist and marketing professionals

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
