Description: This full-time position will be responsible for the recruiting, equipping and care of adult volunteers; person will be tasked with ensuring that volunteer stations are seamlessly filled on a weekly basis and support systems in place to cast vision and provide support to volunteers as it relates to supporting the overall vision and mission of the church.

To this end they will: 1) work with the Executive Pastor to develop and implement strategic volunteer ministry opportunities that are aligned with the overall mission and vision of the church; 2) oversee all of the adult volunteers within the scope of the ministry details set forth under responsibilities; 3) serve as a resource to all adult ministry leaders, always being a step ahead in providing problem solving options and positive solutions to ongoing volunteer ministry needs; 4) provide First Expressions team with consistent vision of what God’s love, permeated throughout the entire volunteer ministry team looks like and acknowledge, affirm and celebrate accordingly.

Gifts, Talents and Profile: This person must have a deep and abiding love for Christ and his church. Ideal candidate will walk with the perfect blend of confidence and humility in such a manner that they are a seamless addition to the Christ Church community, yet easily and readily identified as a leader and positive contributor to the vision and mission of Christ Church. Person must be a problem solver, have a consistent positive attitude and diligent work ethic. Position primarily needs to a gifted administrator, a natural leader and have pastoral heart. They must have strong communication skills and the ability to build teams. Ideal candidate will have capacity to both “lead and launch” multiples of teams-- as this will be a primary responsibility within the scope of the position. Person must be gifted relationally and have demonstrated ability to manage time well and be a self-starter. Person will also have competency with all aspects of Microsoft Office.

•Provide vision and directional oversight for all adult volunteer ministries under the Worship-Connect-Grow-Serve-Share umbrella.
•Provide support to all adult volunteers to enhance likely success in process of moving people from the parking lot to fully-engaged, spiritually growing members of Christ Church.
•Recruit, develop and nurture a wide array of volunteer teams and events

1.Assimilation and New Member Orientation events
2.Support and Leadership of weekend service teams
3.Develop and create teams of volunteers to oversee
4.Provide tactical support to volunteers for annual church wide events
5.Conduit to ensure that registration cards are systematically acknowledged affirmed and addressed
6.Processing of all welcome cards and facilitating the follow-up plan in place
7.Oversee Membership Process
