Job Description:

Summary: Cast the vision of Celebration Church and its’ Senior Pastors by directing the vibrant and growing Kids ministries and programs for children ages birth – 5th grade. Connect kids to their destiny by connecting them with Christ, our church and their call in age-­-appropriate ways.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities consist of (but are not limited to) the following:
• Oversee all Kids ministries and programming from birth to 5th grade
• Create a high-­-energy Kid’s ministry environment for all services
• Connect kids with worship and discipleship opportunities both at our mid-­-week and weekend
services
• Lead children to connect with God and continually take the next step in growing in their
relationship with Him.
• Ensure that all children and their families receive excellent follow-­-up care
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents of children about ministry goals, activities,
spiritual growth plans, and serving opportunities (for both parents and children)
• Commit to complete development of volunteers. Recruit, train, motivate, retain, communicate
with, and appreciate all volunteers. Constantly breathe the vision of Celebration into the hearts
of our volunteers
• Attract and retain children and families to Celebration Church
• Monitor the effectiveness of our kids’ ministry, identify deficiencies, and develop innovative
methods for improvement to lead them to excel in all areas.
• Oversee and manage the budget for our Kids ministry
• Other leadership responsibilities as directed

Requirements
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, seminary a plus
• Five or more years of relevant, full-­-time work experience
• Growing, yet mature follower of Christ called to children’s ministry
• A passion for children and their families, especially as it relates to encouraging life-­-change with
Jesus Christ
• Team-­-oriented visionary leader with direct people management experience
• Strategic thinker who can mobilize and direct large groups of people to reach a common goal
• Ability to attract and lead other highly motivated leaders
• Outstanding communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to and passion for excellence
• Works well in fast-­-paced environment
• Natural ability to relate well to both parents and children
• Capable of seeing the big picture, yet discussing the details
