Worship Arts Vision: We strive to enhance the worship experience while eliminating distractions and pursuing excellence.

The Audio Engineer (AE) is a part of the Worship Arts Team at Rocky Mountain Christian Church and reports to the Worship Architect. This position serves our multi-campus ministry. As the co-leader for the audio aspects of RMCC, the AE is one of the liaisons between the Worship Arts Team, church administration, volunteers and event/program planners.

It is the AE’s responsibility to help ensure that all of the venues produce the highest possible quality audio. Above all, the overall mission of the AE is to help create an atmosphere that is conducive to worship and quality communication based on the purpose of the event and the audience demographic within all venues of RMCC.

Serve in audio and production leadership roles that include, but not limited to:
Building and leading a team of audio, producer, and lighting volunteers for both worship auditoriums, with a focus on the Niwot campus
Throughout the week there will be audio duties at both campuses (set-up, programming, recording, maintenance, etc.), but most weekends the AE will be present at the Niwot campus, helping define and defend the “signature sound” of that campus through either running the console or overseeing the audio volunteers who are running the console.
Training other RMCC ministry areas to operate technical systems
Monitoring volunteer workload and protecting them from burnout
Oversee the implementation of audio/visual aspects for some events
Maintain and service all audio equipment within the church
PRIMARY role is Audio Engineer, but will also function as an overall tech team member and assist with projects, lights, stage design implementation, etc.

This position will require some evening and weekend work to support various events and functions. Current weekly schedule includes supporting all worship services, evening rehearsals and other rehearsals as needed. The AE will also be responsible for working out schedules with the Worship Arts Team to make sure that all venues are supported with qualified volunteer team members.

Venue Descriptions:
Six adult worship services each weekend on two campuses. These services are delivered in three different rooms with multiple demographics
Eight Family Ministry [Children (6) Teens (2)] worship services on two campuses. These services are delivered in eight different rooms with ages varying from 2 – 17.
