Choir Director - Part Time

Job Description:

Suburban Atlanta church is seeking a part time Choir Director, to work in partnership with our Pastor of Worship, to give leadership to our talented group of singers.

We are a blended / contemporary church in musical and worship style, but we still believe there is a place for a “worship-leading choir” that complements our praise band in leading our congregation in worship.

It is important for this person to have a good voice and have knowledge of good, basic vocal technique. Though not “technically required,” some functional keyboard and/or instrumental ability is considered necessary. However, though it’s hard to imagine doing this job without it, we are at least open to possibility that it can be done by a very unique individual.

Lots of schedule flexibility and creative freedom is provided.

Candidates should forward a resume’ along with an MP3 vocal recording or link to one on the web. Video recordings of previous choir directing experience, either in rehearsal or in performance, is a huge plus.
