Highland United Methodist Church in Raleigh, NC is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Business Administrator. Position is responsible for financial and business management of the church.
To be considered, applicants must possess the following:
• Bachelor degree in accounting or a related field and minimum 5 years experience, preferably in church or non-profit setting
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Competence in payroll tax laws, non-profit tax reporting and other church tax laws
• Working knowledge of ACS, or similar accounting system, and strong computer software skills
• Faith-based perspective of budgeting and financial management
• Proven skills in verbal and written communication
• Commitment to availability for committee and other church meetings, including during evening hours
