AUDIO/VISUAL/LIGHTING (A/V/L) DIRECTOR
General Description: Oversight of scheduling of crews and the maintenance of all equipment for the sound, lighting, multi-image, audio recording and video camera ministries as well as special effects for special presentations and illustrated sermons. This includes
all regularly scheduled services as well as all musicals, evangelistic meetings and all church functions. Build a team of paid and volunteer staff to assist in all these areas including filming of all media requests.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge (Education): High school or vocational school diploma and must have a working knowledge of all equipment pertaining to this ministry and be able to provide maintenance as well as do minor repair as needed. Education beyond high school is preferred,
but not required.
Skills (Physical, Social, Mental):
Requires good verbal and written communication skills to keep the Creative Arts Office informed of the status of the department i.e., personnel, scheduling and operation of equipment.
Must support the vision of the Senior Pastor and the local assembly and have a servant’s heart
Experience: Should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with technical equipment.
