Waters Edge Church, Virginia is currently looking for a new team member in the position of Campus Pastor. Position Expectations: You Will Be…
• Leading a high capacity team committed to seeing people experience authentic life change through groups, volunteering and giving.
• Working under the leadership of the Director of Ministries to fulfill the vision of Waters Edge Church.
• The live, on-stage personality for the Yorktown Campus for the pre-show, welcome, and interaction in the lobby.
• Performing pastoral care responsibilities for the Yorktown Campus.
• Responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and caring for Facilitators and Hosts of Community Groups and Leaders and Hosts of Student Groups.
• Coordinating with the Director of Ministries to develop processes that connect adults and students to groups.
• Developing volunteer leaders through coaching, training and building relationships and downloading Lead Pastor Stuart Hodges’ vision/DNA through your interactions.
• Assisting in the writing of sermon-based curriculum for use in Community Group and Student Group discussions.
• Required to work at all weekend worship experiences, all worship services on Christmas Eve and Easter, as well as other events outside of normal working hours as required by leadership.
• Constantly creating, critiquing, and improving processes and programs.
• Collaborating with the campus staff to monitor metrics in order to achieve benchmarks for growth and assimilation on the Yorktown Campus.
