Job Description:
Our church is Destiny Christian Center in Prattville, AL. Our youth group averages between 350-400 students weekly between 7th-12th grade. Our current youth pastor has recently stepped into the Lead Pastor role at our church, and we are seeking to hire a new youth pastor within the next two months. We would prefer a married couple that is willing to run the youth department as a team, with the wife as the administrator. Salary package will be determined by experience and involvement of spouse. Currently at Destiny Student Ministries (DSM) we provide a high impact Wednesday night service with live worship and dramas, weekly small groups, monthly events, and at least two large trips per year.
Job Requirements:
- A growing relationship with Christ
- Good communicator
- Team building skills
- Creative (experience with Final Cut or After Effects is a plus)
- Previous experience leading a youth group of at least 150 students
- Ability to work well with others
- Worship experience is a plus
