CHILDREN’S PASTOR POSITION AT EAGLE CREEK CHURCH
Eagle Creek Church, a modern, non-denominational church, with an average of 650 per Sunday, is seeking an energetic and skilled worker to be our full time Children’s Pastor.
Eagle Creek has a well-established Children’s Ministry averaging approximately 200 children on Sundays and 90+ at our midweek program. Each month 100+ volunteers are serving in our children’s ministries.
We are only looking for someone with over 3+ years of full time employment as the primary children’s pastor of a church. ECC is growing quickly and we must have a high capacity leader who is as strong at developing leaders as they are at doing task. Because we do multiple annual family outreaches to the community, the Children’s Pastor must have experience with event planning, recruiting and leading a large team.

As Children’s Pastor you will be responsible for implementing exciting children’s programs that are relevant, high-energy, and attractive to young families. Your ability to recruit and equip effective leaders will be crucial to the long-term success of the ministry. We are looking for someone with creative ideas that will focus on where Children’s ministry is going, not on where it’s been.
You must also be able to work very agreeably in a staff environment, have flexibility, and be a team player. We hire only staff members with the highest character to be part of the team. This position requires someone who is self-motivated, having a clear vision for children’s ministry.

Culturally Aware – Recognizes the trends of families in our culture, with an understanding of how to support the needs of families from a biblical perspective.
Vision Casting – Have a clear vision and the ability to motivate people to action.
Communication – Must be able to articulate your needs to leadership and be an engaging communicator in your ministry.
Experience – Have at least 3 years experience in Children’s ministry.
Excellence – Must have a commitment to do everything the best you can with the resources you have available.
Administration – No dropped balls, no loose ends. Must be able to plan, communicate well.
Loyalty – Must be committed to the vision of the Lead Pastor and building the church as a whole. We don’t operate in silos we operate as a team.
