Full-time Technical Director Opportunity

Glen Ellyn Bible Church (GEBC) is looking to fill a full-time position of Technical Director (TD) in the Worship Ministries Department. The TD will oversee all technical aspects of Sunday morning worship and special services. This position is a technical leadership position and requires a diverse mix of technical, artistic, and interpersonal skills. Expertise in three main areas of production is strongly recommended: audio, lighting/stage design, and video/multi-media.

GEBC is a non-denominational, elder led, evangelical church located in the western Chicago suburbs. Averaging 600-700 adults and 250 children each Sunday morning, we focus on disciple making ministry opportunities and outreach. We are fully contemporary and passionate in our worship philosophy. Our commitment to excellence reflects our posture of worship for a God who models excellence to us in every sense.

We are looking for a self-starter and someone who is willing to work alongside the Worship Leader and Senior Pastor to plan and execute worship services. Our ideal candidate must also have the ability to maintain and manage all equipment needs while staying up-to-date on the latest technological and artistic advances. In addition, the candidate must have a servant’s heart to help train and inspire volunteers to become the best version of themselves using their unique God given talents which is the key to fruitful ministry for the Kingdom.
