Job Description:
Austin Christian Fellowship is seeking a SMALL GROUP MINISTRY LEADER to plan and execute creative, inviting opportunities for people to connect with small groups, generate communications that promote ACF Small Groups and cultivate the spiritual health and leadership development of assigned leaders. SG Ministry Leader will constantly strive to develop a culture of disciples who make disciples committed to living according to the principles of Acts 2:42.

ACF was founded 18 years ago with the passion of helping people throughout Austin know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. That vision remains our focus today through the inspired and prayerful leadership of our senior pastor and a dedicated team of servant leaders. We live to honor God in all we do and are committed to pursuing His kingdom with quality, simplicity and integrity. We seek true transformation in our city and around the world.

ACF gives 35% of its budget to its unique missional calling and is aggressively pursuing our goal of giving away 50% each year. Our second church community launched in January through Small Groups, and our third is on its way in September.

ACF Small Groups currently connect over 1000 adults in communities that promote relationships that inspire life transformation through knowing, loving and serving Jesus Christ. We are committed to providing opportunities for all adults at ACF and in our surrounding communities to participate in one of these transformational groups.

Primary responsibilities include . . .
CONNECTIONS- create opportunities for people to learn about and connect with ACF SGs
COMMUNICATIONS – generate printed, posted, texted, and tweeted information to support and
promote ACF SGs
COMMUNITY BUILDING- support and encourage SG Leaders in a specific geography and assist
in building community in their neighborhood

Applicants should have . . .
• Minimum 3-5 years Small Group Ministry leadership experience
• Experience recruiting and developing volunteer leaders
• Passion to execute the details of a clearly defined vision
• Ability to connect relationally with Small Group Leaders and Community Leaders
• Proficiency with standard office software and social media
