Job Description:
MinisterSearch (www.MinisterSearch.com) is excited to present an opportunity for Lead Pastor candidates at a vibrant, growing, multi-campus church of approximately 1200 in the beautiful seaside Alabama/Florida area.
This church wants a passionate, relational, strong leader to shepherd the church to embrace the vision and mission of loving the community, continuing their work in missions, and to lead the congregation to seek God’s heart.
With a real heart for missions, this church is blessed with a completely dedicated and hard working staff in a casual, family atmosphere. Among Outreach magazine’s top 100 fastest growing churches in America, this church offers excited staff and congregation, a good mix of younger couples with families and older adults, small group-based ministry, a progressive worship style, all coming together to serve in a relaxed, informal environment.
When most people think of this area, they think of the first class golf courses, beautiful beaches, and unlimited recreational opportunities. Close to two interstate highways, you are only minutes away from the beautiful white sand and blue water of the ocean. However, there is actually much more.
With four municipal airports, multi-million dollar airport expansions and an area workforce of 4,000 trained in the aerospace industry, as well as a strong telecommunications infrastructure, software development firms, and a venture seed capital network this area is growing and thriving. Put that together with excellent schools, friendly people, and a small town atmosphere in a high tech environment, you have the perfect melding of a fantastic place to live, raise a family, and lead a great church, with energized people who are eager to support their next Lead Pastor.
The right person for this position will have a minimum of 5+ years’ recent, full-time experience in a church with a minimum weekly attendance of 500+. Also, a degree is needed--and Seminary is a plus!
