The Chapel holds a high view of the historic Scripture, and values expository teaching and preaching, supporting and sending local and international missionaries, and pursuing multi-generational discipleship opportunities for those who attend the fellowship. Our average Sunday School attendance is 130, and attendance in our Sunday morning services averages 235 people.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Associate Pastor uses his spiritual gifts and talents in partnership with the other pastoral staff, elders, and deacons to enable and oversee Chapel ministries. Even as he pursues his own calling, enlisting and equipping others for works of service is an applied passion. Formal Training. At a minimum a Bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministry from an accredited Bible college or university is required. Formal music education is highly valued.

Theological Agreement. The applicant must read and agree with the Chapel’s purpose and faith statements as outlined in the Chapel by the Sea, Inc. Constitution and Bylaws, edition April 2, 2008. (Available at www.chapelbythesea.com or in writing by request)
