Carlisle Brethren in Christ Church is celebrating 100 years of serving our surrounding community by showing them the love of Christ. Our multigenerational church is made up of people pursuing a deeper love for Christ and people. We currently have four services on our campus(two run concurrently via video simulcast). We are looking to launch new sites in the years ahead.
CBIC employs people who exemplify and live out our core values. Team members are passionate about their work and their love of Christ, high energy and creativity motivates them for effective ministry. As a result, we are growing and have significant momentum.
CBIC is seeking a person for the new position, Pastor of Outreach and Spiritual Formation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in the mobilization of a congregation in the areas of outreach, integration of new people and families into the life of the congregation, and through systems helping people continue their pursuit of following Christ fully. The chosen candidate will have excellent administrative gifts and experience, and a partnering mindset.
This person must also have an extraordinary track record of starting, growing and leading programs and ministries. The POSF will be single-focused on aligning programs and curriculum with the mission of CBIC: helping people come to a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
The position is all about reaching new people, helping new people connect meaningfully with the congregation, and helping people continue to grow in their spiritual journey.
