Job Description:
Ginghamsburg Church is a mission-driven church and a United Methodist community of 4500 attendees that is actively serving locally, nationally and globally to change the world one life at a time. Ginghamsburg's Children's & Student Media Producer is important in the discipleship process of big group events that utilize media. The position is shared between the two ministries. Seeking talented and creative media mind to work from concept to completion within a team environment. Must be current with teen and children's culture.

Student & Children’s Ministry Media Producer

Accountable to:
Directors of Student and Children’s Ministry

-Professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
-Commitment to personal spiritual growth and healthy lifestyle
-Considers this position a ministry, not just a job
-Models standards and expectations of staff members within Ginghamsburg Church including membership and worship attendance at Ginghamsburg Church, cell group participation, lifestyle of tithing and generosity, and faithfully serving out of your call and giftedness

-Produce media for all ministries
-Assist other media team members with production needs
-Mac computer operation/troubleshooting/maintenance
-Video system configurations (stationary and mobile setups)
-Functional of the operation, maintenance of LCD projectors
-Camera operation/troubleshooting
-Upkeep, storage, maintenance of various media relating to discipleship
-Posting on Mac-based Final Cut Pro, AE software; hard drive management
-Keep current with new trends in technology and be able to learn new skills as necessary
-Learn live weekend worship process, and serve as backup for worship when needed
-Ability to coordinate 3-4 projects simultaneously
-Ability to work from concept to screen in both team and individual environments
-Field shooting and post-production work
-Set-up and tear down of audio/visual media needs at all church events.
-Versed in online video CODECs and best practices

Non-Technical Qualifications:
-Ability to communicate with, train and mentor unpaid servants effectively
-Leadership skills for directing teams of unpaid servants
-Commitment and ability to work in and contribute to the overall staff team
-Commitment to quality in all areas
-Concern for process and attention to detail

Education & Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in related field
-Two+ years of professional experience (and training) in video/media production including lighting, audio and camera operation
-Experience and training in post-production work
