New Venture Christian Fellowship has an opportunity for a Pastor of Church Administration to join our talented team. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and multi-task successfully under pressure and deadlines and feel comfortable interacting with Church Leadership, Ministry Management Team, and/or other ministry leaders.
The Pastor of Church Administration seeks excellence and efficiency in all areas and applications as we, as a Church, go about the business of ministry with professionalism and exemplary stewardship.

Working under the direct supervision of the Senior Pastor, and in harmony with other staff members and ministry team leaders, this vital role provides fiscal, administrative and operational leadership that sharpens and finely-tunes New Venture’s practical ability to fulfill the church’s vision and mission as established by the Senior Pastor.

Administration & Ministry Development
Chief functions & overview of responsibilities.

This Job Description serves as an overview as the Pastor of Church Administration seeks to fulfill the vision, mission and ministry requirements as established by the Senior Pastor.

I. Finance:
o Oversight of the Finance Department / Finance Personnel including but not limited to assurance of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, Accounts Payable / Receivable, Payroll, Income (statement & balance), Investment and Tax Reporting, Giving, Endowments and Grants / Fundraising.
o Direct budgeting & financial analysis & projection to identify areas requiring attention & improvement.
o Communicate financial standings/reports to the Senior Pastor.
o Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports and legal documents.
II. Administration:
o Oversight, Management & Development of Business Office / Business Personnel including business systems, techniques and programs.
o Management & Development of overall corporate systems & structures, processes & procedures as developed by or with the Executive Team.
o Oversight of leases, contracts and other negotiations.
o Oversight of HR Director providing leadership, supervision and support, and ensuring the policies and benefits are in compliance with the federal and state regulations.
- Ensure appropriate and adequate insurance coverage including workers’ compensation, property/casualty, liability, et al.
- Work closely with the Personnel Department to implement personnel policies and procedures of the church.
- Oversee maintenance of accurate and up-to-date files by the Personnel Department.
- Develop, employ and ensure appropriate personnel policies including entrance and exit processes, performance administration (filing and scheduling of evaluations, write ups, reviews prepared by Dept. Heads, etc.)
o Oversight of Purchasing, monitoring and ensuring all church inventories, equipment, furniture, operational supplies, et al.
o Oversight of Vendor Relations including hiring/costs/payment of or agreements with contractors, consultants, and vendors.
III. Operations:
o Oversight of Facilities Team / Facilities Personnel ensuring maintenance and upkeep of all buildings, grounds and landscaping, and coordination, scheduling and policies of outside use of facilities.
o Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
o Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
o Weekend Leadership & Oversight, including but not limited to campus operations, guest needs, ministry efficiency, troubleshooting, et al.
