Essentially, the Creative Director will be responsible for leading the way in how Hope communicates while also supporting, as necessary, the delivery methods in which we share.

The Details.

Internal: The Creative Director will lead and support the communication needs of staff and ministries at Hope – as well as assuming a quality control role, ensuring that our communications are unified and consistent with our brand. Weekly, Sunday communications are an ongoing part of the life of Hope and the Creative Director will be responsible for overseeing excellence for worship services. This may include management of the planning and production of print materials and graphics, projected graphics and announcements as well as the creation and use of video and other media. Further, the Creative Director will oversee the development of communications for Hope ministries, events, classes, etc. as those needs arise.

External: Communications that reach outside our church are an essential part of how we reach people and seek to help people know Hope. These communications should be effective and winsome so that they can reach into the community and world around us, delivering an engaging and inviting message. Such communications that the Creative Director would oversee will include everything visual at Hope, such as Hope’s website, media releases, print materials, as well as video and/or audio message deployment.

Qualifications: It will be essential that the Creative Director has a high “get it factor” for the feel of Hope, as well as our mission, vision and values. The Creative Director will have professional experience in ministry or secular business settings that have demonstrated outstanding artistry and effectiveness of messaging. The Creative Director will have to have the ability to create communications through various media including graphic arts and video. The Creative Director will also have to be an effective manager and leader of people as he/she will support various volunteer teams. An artistic style that is fresh and crisp will be important, and creativity and excellence will be a requirement in all endeavors.
