Technical Director

Job Description:
Victory World Church has an opening for a seasoned technical director to work with a team of professionals to oversee weekly services. We operate in a digital environment that includes oversight of audio, video, lights, data and staging for services. We are looking for a professional with experience working in a Christian environment with exceptional communication with pastors and other ministry staff.


Primary Responsibilities

-Production of weekly services and church events

- Function as producer of weekend services

- Lead/manage campus video capture/playback

- Ensure services and events are staffed by production volunteers and staff

- Ensure everyone has a clear understanding of their role during a service

- Shepherd, disciple, and encourage production volunteers

- Recruiting, training, and equipping production volunteers (includes lights, stage, pro-presenter, camera operators, producers at all campuses)

- Oversee big picture planning for the production department

- Maintain, set up, and program all lighting for weekend services

- Install and set up new stage designs

- Work with communications team on stage design changes for events, services, and conferences

- Replace, repair, and upgrade gear that is in need of service or not functioning properly

- Provide technical direction for services and special events

- Experience with switching live cameras for IMAG, webcasting, and recording

- Knowledgeable with various computer-based broadcast mixing systems

-Attend staff meetings and functions as directed
