Job Description:
20-24 hours per week assisting Director, Business Administration regarding finances of the church. Prepare reports for various committees, pastors, banking institutions, insurance company, state, and Conference office. Assist with Record of Giving reports to congregation quarterly. Assist with Budget process, payroll, and Accounts payable. Meet and coordinate outside/independent source on a monthly basis for Bank Account reconcilliation process as requested. Available to meet with other auditor or CPA to review procedure(s) and /or questions as requested.
2-4 year degree in Accounting, CPA firm experience a plus, must pass background check and be bondable, no history of felony convictions or financial crimes of any kind. Must be proficient in the following areas: MS Office Suites, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Quick Books Pro, knowledge of Servent Keeper software a plus.
