Job Description:
Love Code? Love God? Kensington is seeking a full-time programming, development and operations manager who is responsible for β€œall things web.” Candidate will be responsible for the implementation of plans and ideas emanating from the Communications team, and IT team – making them work in a technical and functional sense. Dream and experiment on how to use emerging technologies to our best advantage. Stay abreast of cutting edge industry and website innovations that could benefit us. Drive initiatives to make KC one of the most advanced and useful church sites in the country – internally and externally.
1. Education: Experience in computer programming; proficient in HTML, C#, CSS JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, PHP, SQL, for full and fast integration of sites and services.
2. Experience: Hands-on background in building websites, coding, programming, and leading teams and volunteers in major site settings.
3. Requirements: Affirmation of the mission, values and beliefs of Kensington. Teachable and passionate about learning new skills and multi-tasking
