Job Description:
Chapin United Methodist Church is seeking a creative, fun, hard-working visionary to lead our Adults towards becoming “fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ”! This brand new position is an incredible opportunity for the right person to make a life-changing, eternal impact on the metropolitan Columbia, South Carolina – and the world!

This position has responsibility for the oversight and supervision of all ministry teams that are responsible for integrating Adults into the church life of Chapin United Methodist Church. This person will lead and supervise the Adult Small Group Ministry and all First Impressions ministries (Nice Helping People, Guest Central, Parking, Greeters/Ushers). This critical position will create a warm and welcoming environment for guests and attenders on Sunday Morning, and grow and nurture adult small group communities where people can meet Jesus Christ (connect); develop into devoted Christ-followers through authentic biblical community (grow); and then repeat the process in other’s lives (share).

Chapin United Methodist Church is located in Chapin, SC, a beautiful, family-friendly lakefront community. This is a tremendous place to raise a family, with award-winning schools and a very reasonable cost of living. The pay and benefits are competitive, and you will partner with a staff that loves God and people very much!

We are seeking a person who is a mature follower of Jesus Christ; has proven and documented experience in successfully leading and integrating Adults into growing, vibrant biblical community; knows how to have fun and not take themselves too seriously; and has excellent “people skills”.
