Job Description:
This is a full-time exempt position. We offer Salary with benefits. We are a multi-staff, multi service, multi-venue body of believers. Sunday attendance averages 750. The Senior Pastor is responsible for casting the vision and mission of the church. Our existing vision and mission is outlined in the 12 Strategic Ministry Priorities of the church’s website, http://grovecityalliance.org.

The Successful candidate will provide leadership to staff, lay-leaders, and the congregation. Through Biblical expository preaching, teaching, discipleship and evangelism, he will provide spiritual care and direction. He will oversee and encourage a mission-oriented ministry locally and globally and should have a commitment to small groups.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Vision and Mission of GCAC
• Oversee and Provide Pastoral Care
• Provide Biblical Expository Preaching and Teaching
• Provide Leadership to Elders, Governing Board, and Staff
• Encourage Local and Global Community Involvement and Impact
