Job Description:

This is a new full time position that oversees all children's ministry and programming from Kindergarten through 5th grade.

We are looking for someone who has 1) A dynamic relationship with Christ as evidenced by a life of integrity, and a lifestyle of prayer, worship, discipleship and service; 2) A demonstrated passion and calling to reach children with the life-changing message of Christ; 3) An ability to lead other highly motivated leaders, and, 4) Outstanding communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, relational, creative and forward-thinking.

Job Products

•Provide vision and direction for a vibrant, growing children's ministry.
•Create a high-energy attractional children’s ministry environment for all services
•Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the children's ministry (Kindergarten to 5th Grade).
•Focus on drawing children to Jesus Christ.
•Develop a team and recruit new volunteers to assist with all aspects of the ministry.
•Develop and implement children and family-focused outreach initiatives including area school involvement
•Organize training and planning sessions for children's leaders/workers.
•Approve all children's ministry programs, curriculums, activities and disbursement of funds for supplies and projects.

A good sense of humor and ability to have fun while working hard as part of a team are crucial. B.A. in Biblical Studies or related field and 3+ years of large church experience preferred.
