Associate Outreach Pastor

The Ark Church in Conroe, Texas (just north of Houston) is looking to expand our Community Outreach with the addition of an Associate Pastor. This position is designed for a high energy, people-oriented, positive person with a passion for reaching out to and being involved in our community.

The ideal candidate is passionate about reaching our community, event coordination and execution, recruiting and leading volunteers, and being on a high capacity/”make it happen” staff. This is a great opportunity for a younger pastor to be coached, trained, and developed for future ministry growth.

The Ark Church is fifteen years old, with a charismatic background (our Senior Pastor came out of Lakewood Church) and is currently averaging 4,000 in attendance.

This job will require you to....
Be a member of The Ark Church - upholding the church’s values and heart
Plan, promote, coordinate, & work with volunteers and staff to ensure impact, efficiency & effectiveness in church outreaches and events
Develop new avenues for continued outreach & service to our community
Continually develop relationships with, minister & touch the lives of church members & those in our community
Constantly pursue excellence
Work closely with the Community Care Pastor and Staff on all areas under their responsibilities (First Impressions Team, Hospital Visits, Funerals, etc.)


2-3 years ministry experience preferred
