Job Description:

VIDEO EDITOR

Primary responsibility of position is to generate original programming for both the Web and general usage via video editing, static and motion graphics, with EFP lighting and camerawork. Position will edit weekly online broadcast and special projects as the relate to the Church; create video composites for broadcast by using After Effects as a 2D rendering tool and use graphics in television and video production with the use of Photoshop and or Illustrator software; maintain Final Cut Pro non-linear editing systems including maintenance and software updates and systems configuration; will assist in EFP production as it relates to stories, music or special production including camera work, lighting, sound, and set-up and tear down as well as assist on Sunday mornings as it related to the taping of the weekly broadcast including camera work, CCU control and directing.

Incumbent must possess knowledge of Final Cut Pro, basic and advanced editing techniques, graphic abilities rivaling specialized graphic artists, sound editing, musical selection; working knowledge of Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, and Motion. Must also be a strong self-starter and creative thinker with ability to float between the many elements of the broadcast to more advanced creative work for private projects.
