Job Description:

The Falls Church is a vibrant 3500+ member evangelical church community located in Northern Virginia just outside of Washington, D.C. We are seeking an experienced and creative leader who shares our passion for connecting kids and their families to Jesus. This individual will minister alongside a gifted staff team to “equip the saints for works of ministry” and partner with parents to evangelize and disciple children. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

A passion for bringing others to new life in Christ.
2 or more years of Family Ministry or equivalent experience.
A passion for ministry with children, their parents and families.
A working knowledge of the developmental needs of preschool and elementary-aged children.
Proven experience leading and teaching adults and teenagers.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
A teachable spirit and a desire to grow and be stretched in ministry.
A pastor’s heart for the lost and hurting.
Bachelor’s degree. (Childhood or Christian Education emphasis a plus, but not required.)
