Job Description: The Technical Director is responsible for all live video production at EBC's Blaine Campus.

Classification: Exempt Status: Full Time

Team: Multi-Site Production Reports To: Campus Production Manager

Work Schedule: 75% weekdays; 25% weekends & evenings

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education: BA/BS or equivalent certification from appropriate technical school
Full knowledge of live production, which includes video, audio, lighting, multimedia, music, and staging
Minimum 2 years experience/skill with technical equipment preventative maintenance/troubleshooting.
Knowledge and ability to operate technical gear including video switcher, camera, recording gear, and digital video equipment.
Experience leading and supervising production team - staff and volunteers
Strong team building and leadership skills
Effective communication skills; written, verbal and interpersonal
Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
Be reliable, take initiative, and be self motivated
Be available to work weekends

Overview of Job Duties (this is a working list and may be adjusted at any time by your manager):
Serve as the Video Production Technical Director at Blaine campus. This includes all duties required to lead and direct a production crew. (i.e. graphics, shader, cameras, etc.)
Coach technical teams (video, lighting, and staging) this includes recruiting, training/developing, and scheduling.
Program and operate a video switcher and direct camera crew through a live production.
Oversee and implement all video production requirements for EBC weekend services and major events, including:
Ensuring technical excellence.
Manage technical assets at the designated campus, includes:
Maintaining technical inventories & keeping control room area current by presenting a professional working environment.
Working with the Campus Production Manager on any technical needs or equipment purchases.
Keeping accurate paperwork for all warranty and maintenance issues.
Managing maintenance schedule and performing maintenance on all technical equipment in your area.
Stay current on new technologies and industry trends and make recommendations to supervisor.
